Our Natural Sea Sponge is stiff when dry, but becomes silky soft and highly absorbent when wet. It contains natural minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, iron and zinc that nourish the skin, provide micro exfoliation, boosts blood circulation for a healthier glow and importantly contain natural enzymes that inhibit the growth of bacteria and mould.
Responsibly hand-harvested in the Mediterranean Sea, these organic sea sponges are 100% biodegradable and eco-friendly from a renewable resource. They can be used multiple times and last for years with proper care, making them a wonderful sustainable beauty accessory.
To use, simply wet under warm water to soften.
After use, rinse your sponge in water and allow to dry.
To keep your sponge healthy and in top condition, soak in warm water with one tablespoon baking soda for an hour every couple of weeks. This revitalises the sponge’s cellular structure for increased durability.
